Description | WHO WE ARE: We are a private voice studio offering lessons and classes in singing. Located in the heart of Chapel Hill, NC, we currently have five instructors and over 75 students. Lessons are taught at our main location, and an additional private home studio in town. The basis of our training is rooted in the classical tradition, but our instructors also teach broadway, jazz, country and pop styles when appropriate to the student’s needs and technical ability. OUR TEACHING PHILOSOPHY: We believe that singing is a natural and expressive use of the vocal instrument, utilizing the same physical anatomy as the speaking voice. Therefore, we feel that anyone capable of making sounds can improve the range, scope, and quality of those sounds. The instructors at the Szymanski Studios believe in striving for vocal excellence while maintaining a positive, encouraging attitude. Each student is treated with respect and with attention to individual needs. |
