The Bennett College for Women is a small, private historically black college with a long history of encouraging student participation in social justice causes. The Theatre program is part of the Department of Visual and Performing Arts. Each academic year, The Bennett Players perform evening of original Spoken Word Poetry as well as three additional productions in The Little Theatre, located on campus. Students who major in Theatre receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Performance. A Theatre minor also is offered. |
